WCS were appointed in October 2019 to provide a Heritage Statement for a proposed residential extension within Thistleton Conservation Area in West Lancashire. We promptly compiled a concise Heritage Statement which identified the key qualities of the conservation area and the building affected, an early 19th century barn which had previously been converted to residential use. Consent was granted for the development by Fylde District Council in January 2020 without further revisions being required to the scheme.
